HE INK LAW CHAMBERShas been established by dynamic lawyers as a corporate law firm and some of the Partners are successors of Muccadam &Co.Advocates, which began in the 1970’s and developed into a family law firm founded by the Late Advocate Hussein Jainuddin Muccadam who initially

worked in the Judiciary as a Senior Resident Magistrate and later Registrar of the High Court for eleven years and later decided to open his own law firm. The late Mr Muccadam developed the Firm into one of Tanzania’s premier corporate and litigation firms with experience and expertise in complex cases of all types.

Advocate Khalid (“Tony”) H. Muccadam is the Managing Partner, and founder of the firm, INK LAW CHAMBERS (ILC) and concentrated in specialising in certain specific areas of law practice, who took on from the firm’s predecessor spirit and principles, Muccadam &CoAdvocates that was established by the late Advocate Hussein Muccadam. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma, which he obtained from studies in legal practice at the University of Dar es Salaam’s School of Law. He is also an Advocate of the High Court of Zanzibar since 2009.

Professional Memberships:

Prior to graduating his Law Degree Mr. Muccadam was attached to the Greenwich Community Law Centre in Greenwich, London as a Trustee and part of the Board of Directors overseeing payroll and finance for the law centre. He also worked for Help Adviceand Quality Service (HAQS) in Woolwich, London prior to completing his law degree and returning to take over the footsteps of his late father Advocate Hussein Muccadam. Led by a strong corps of trial attorneys who have tried hundreds of cases to verdict and learning from the experience of our peers, the firm has garnered a reputation for taking on matters that have drawn national as well as international attention such as the famous first ever Treason Trial successfully into the history books of Tanzania at Muccadam & Co Advocates. We have been able to carry on the torch and burn the midnight oil to steer your legal problems and issues to satisfaction.
